Field Hockey Falls at No. 15 James Madison

HARRISONBURG, Va. – No. 15 James Madison scored four goals in each half to defeat Radford, 8-1, Wednesday evening from JMU Field Hockey Complex. Sophomore Madonna Wadolowski (Norwalk, Conn./Brien McMahon) scored her first goal of the season for the Highlanders.

Auburn Weisendale tallied three of the Dukes' four first half goals. Tori Lindsey, who tallied the other first half goal, found the back of the cage three more times in the second period for JMU.

Junior Jen Wisniewski (Centreville, Va./Westfield) made five saves in 56:33 for the Highlanders. Twin sister Stephanie Wisniewski (Centreville, Va./Westfield) closed out the match, making two stops.

Defensively junior Megan Lenhardt (Gloucester, Va./Gloucester) and sophomore Niamh Connolly (Fredericksburg, Va./Chancellor) each recorded a defensive save.

Radford opens up NorPac play at home on Saturday, Oct. 3 at 2 p.m. hosting Longwood at RU Field Hockey Field. Following the contest, former Highlanders will take part in an alumni match.
