VERSAGE AND PARKER SELECTED NORPAC EAST ALL-CONFERENCE

RADFORD, Va. – Senior Alayna Versage and sophomore Marianna Parker were named to the NorPac's East Division All-Conferenc team, announced the league office on Wednesday evening the annual awards banquet held at Williams Stadium on the campus of Liberty University.

Versage garners her second all-conference nod after leading the league and ranking third in the NCAA with nine defensive saves. Her presence in the back anchors a defense that leads the NCAA with 23 defensive stops. Owner of the career mark (20) as well, Versage also chipped in offensively. She tallied two goals and two assists with one of those scores being the overtime game-winner against Davidson.

The senior from Virginia Beach, Va. was also named to the all-academic squad for her work in the classroom. She

Parker earns her first postseason accolade after leading the Highlanders with seven goal and 15 points. The Virginia Beach, Va. Native recorded her first multiple goal contest against Saint Louis and scored three of her goals against conference foes, Liberty, Appalachian State and Longwood.

Radford opens play against UC Davis in the first round of the NorPac Championships on Nov. 6. The first contest of the tournament is scheduled for 11:00 a.m. at Liberty Field Hockey Field.
