CHARLESTON, S.C. – In addition to the Radford women's golf team being just seven strokes off the lead, Hannah Coles is tied for first individually following round one of the 2010 Wendy's Invitational Monday.

The 36-hole event is being played on the Par 71, 5,901-yard Coosaw Creek Country Club layout.

After sitting out last weekend's Pirate Intercollegiate, Coles returned to the course in impressive fashion as the senior carded a one-over 72 this afternoon.

As a team, the Highlanders carded a 311 and will enter the final round just seven strokes back of Big South foe Bucknell (304).

Following Coles is junior Jade Okamoto, who is tied for fourth following a 74. Looking for her fourth Top-20 finish of the fall, freshman Paige Reese is currently tied for 27th after day one.

The second and final round will begin tomorrow morning at 8:30 a.m.
