CHARLESTON, S.C. –
Hannah Coles finished second individually as the Radford women's golf team concluded their fall campaign with another Top-5 showing placing fourth at the 2010 Wendy's Invitational hosted by Charleston Southern Tuesday.
The 36-hole event was played on the Par 71, 5,901-yard Coosaw Creek Country Club layout.
Coles, who entered the final round tied for the lead, carded a four-over 75 this afternoon to record her third Top-5 finish of 2010 and eighth of her career.
In addition to Coles, junior
Jade Okamoto tied for 13th firing a two-day total of (74-81 = 155), while freshman
Paige Reese capped her fall with another strong showing placing tied for 21st.
Kirsty Condon and
Amy McCollum also competed for the Highlanders shooting 36-hole scores of 167 and 171, respectively.
The Highlanders enjoyed one of their most successful fall slates in program history – Lady Bison Fall Classic (6th Place), Great Smokies Intercollegiate (2nd Place), Winthrop Fall Tournament (1st Place), Wendy's Invitational (4th Place).
Radford will return to this course for its Spring Opener March 11-12 at the Sunshine Spring Classic in Orlando, Fla.
