DOMER BREAKS OWN JAVELIN SCHOOL RECORD AT RALEIGH RELAYS

Sean Domer's (Indiana, Pa./Grove City College) new outdoor javelin school record highlighted the competition for the Radford men's track and field team at this weekend's Raleigh Relays at Paul Derr Track.

Domer's javelin school record didn't last long as he re-broke his own school record with a mark of 60.91m (199'10”) to finish in fifth place.

Elsewhere in the field events, senior Kyle Morse placed second among collegiate athletes in the hammer throw with a distance of 62.19mm (204'0). Antonio Melier placed ninth with a distance of 14.08m (46'2.50”) in the triple jump. #Tony Brown# Jr. tied for sixth in the high jump with a height of 2.00m (6'6.75”).

On the track, Raschad Kelso ran a seasons-best time of 21.80 in the 200m to finish ninth. The 400m saw three Highlanders go under 50 seconds, Olajuwon Jones 48.02 to place ninth, Kelso 48.87 to finish 31st and Jordan Wynder  49.84 to cross the finish line in 54th.

Brett Olinger
clocked in at 53.86 in the 400m hurdles and placed tenth among collegiate runners.

The Highlanders will be back on the track April 1-3 for the Texas Relays and Duke Invitational
