RADFORD, Va. -- No. 5 Radford fell to No.1 Charleston Southern, 4-0, in the semifinals of the 2010 Big South Women's Tennis Championships Friday morning at the RU Tennis Courts.

The top-seeded Buccaneers advance to the Finals and will meet the winner of today's second semifinal between No. 2 Winthrop and No. 3 Coastal Carolina Saturday at 9 a.m.

The Highlanders dropped the doubles point to begin the match in a 1-0 hole.

Radford lost three straight singles matches in straight-sets and were down a set on courts one and two when the dual was decided.

The Highlanders finished the season with a 14-8 record and advanced to the semifinals for the first time in 12 years by defeating UNC Asheville yesterday morning.
