DURHAM, N.C. – Seven season bests and four Top-10 finishes highlighted competition for the Radford men's track and field team at this weekend's Duke Invitational at Wallace Wade Stadium.
Kaise White and
Jordan Wynder placed in the top ten in the 400m. White placed second among collegiate runners with a season-best time of 48.71, while Wynder placed eighth with a season-best 49.20. In the 800m,
Drew Hall posted a season-best time of 1:53.66.
Bryan Wallace ran his fastest time of the year in the 110m hurdles clocking in at 15.40.
White (22.38) and Hall (50.13) each posted season bests in the 200m and 400m, respectively.
In field events,
Antonio Melier placed sixth with a distance of 14.08m (46'2. 50”) in the triple jump.
Phillip Hovatter reached a season-best mark of 13.42m (44'0. 50”) in the triple jump.
Tony Brown Jr. finished third in the high jump with a height of 2.04m (6'8. 25”).
The Highlanders will be back on the track April 8-10 at the Sea Ray Relays.
