MORGANTON, N.C. – Radford's Megan Leinewber carded her second straight four-over 76 as the senior recorded her third Top-15 finish of the season placing tied for 12th at the Mimosa Hills Intercollegiate hosted by Western Carolina.
The 36-hole event was played on the Par 72, 5,869-yard Mimosa Hills layout.
Like Leineweber, Hannah Coles matched her opening round total to conclude the two-day tournament tied for 27th at 156 (78-78).
Sophomore Jade Okamoto finished two back of Coles in a tie for 35th, while freshman Sophia Montenegro and Amy McCollum came home tied for 71st and 76th, respectively.
Kelsey Lewis, who competed as an individual for the Highlanders, also tied for 71st at 174.
As a team, Radford bettered its day one score by two strokes to finishes 12th.
Elon edged Appalachian State by three swings for the team title, while Wofford's Sarah Hurt claimed individual medalist with a 36-hole total of three-under 141.
Radford will enjoy a six-day break before traveling to Ninety-Six, S.C. for the 2010 Big South Women's Golf Championships April 12-14. The host Highlanders will enter the 9-team event as the fourth seed.
