CHARLOTTE, N.C. – Senior Hannah Coles (Birmingham, England / The Coleshill School) of the Radford women's golf team has been named Choice Hotels Big South Golfer of the Week for events played Sept. 16-22, as announced by the league office Thursday.

This past weekend, Coles tied for second out of 124 participants at the Great Smokies Women's Collegiate (par 72, 5,922 yards) with a 3-under 141 (71-70), just one shot behind the individual champion.

She helped Radford to a school-record and tournament-low 285 (3-under par) in the final round as the Highlanders finished runner-up in the 24-team field with a school-record 36-hole total of 586.

After a two week break, Radford will return to the course at the Winthrop Fall Tournament Oct. 2-3.
