FINAL RESULTS
CHARLESTON, S.C. – Radford women's golf concluded the fall campaign and sophomore
Kirsty Condon (Lincolnshire, England/Kesteven and Sleaford) carded a final-round 76 to finish in a tie for 10th at the CSU Wendy's Invitational Tuesday afternoon.
Condon wrapped up the two-day event with a career-low 150 (+8) and recorded her first Top-10 showing in a non-dual setting this season.
The 36-hole event was held on the par-71, 6,010-yard layout at Coosaw Creek Country Club.
As a team, the Highlanders (310-311, 621) posted a 311 on the final day and finished tied for eighth alongside fellow league member Gardner-Webb. The competition was tight, as only 11 strokes separated Radford from runner-up honors.
Jade Okamoto (Huntington Beach, Calif./Marina) finished tied for 23rd with a 155 (+13) in an 84-player field while freshman
Alex Austin (Burke, Va./Robinson Secondary) tied for 30th, one stroke back of Okamoto at 156.
Radford returns to the links in the spring on Feb. 26-28, when it competes in the Edwin Watts Kiawah's Island Invite in Kiawah, S.C.
