ROCK HILL, S.C. – The sixth-seeded Radford women's tennis team fell to No. 3 Liberty, 4-0, in the opening round of the 2011 Big South Women's Tennis Championships Thursday evening at the Winthrop Memorial Courts.

The Lady Flames came out strong winning the doubles point with victories on courts two and three. The match on court one went unfinished.

In singles competition, Liberty took the first three victories in straight-sets to close out the match.

The Highlanders finished the season with a 6-15 overall mark, while going 2-5 in the League.
