RADFORD, Va. – The Radford women's tennis team fell to Coastal Carolina, 6-1, Saturday afternoon at the RU Tennis Courts.

The loss drops the Highlanders to 5-11 overall and 2-4 in the Big South, while the Chanticleers improve to 17-4 on the season and remain undefeated in the league.

After sweeping the doubles portion, Coastal Carolina went ahead and recorded straight-set victories courts four, five and six to secure the win.

Radford's lone triumph came from Ivana Tomaic with a straight-set decision over Kourtney Kowal on court three.

The Highlanders will be back on the court Sunday for a league match against Gardner-Webb at 1 p.m.
