ROANOKE, Va. - Freshman Brian Gorwitz competed in the 5000m and was the lone Radford runner at the Virginia Tech-Roanoke College Twilight meet Thursday evening.

Gorwitz, who has already qualified for U.S. Junior Nationals held later this summer, finished seventh with a time of 15:29.74.  It was the first time running the 5000m since the Big South Championships in April.
