FIELD HOCKEY HOSTS MOUNTAINEERS IN HOME FINALE ON SUNDAY

Radford wraps up its home slate, hosting Appalachian State in a key NorPac match on Sunday at 1:00 p.m. The Highlanders sit in fourth place holding a one game lead in the win column and with a victory could secure a spot in the NorPac tournament heading into the final week of the season.

A LOOK AT RU: Radford is coming off a tough 4-0 defeat at No. 25 Wake Forest on Wednesday... The Highlanders are looking to snap a six-match slide this afternoon... A LOOK AT APPALACHIAN STATE: The Mountaineers are coming off a road defeat at Liberty on Friday night and are currently a game behind the Highlanders in the standings... LAST MEETING / SERIES: Radford earned a 3-2 double overtime win in Boone on Sept. 30. The Highlanders rallied from a 2-0 first half deficit and Stacey Mackintosh scored with just over two minutes left before a shootout... RU leads the series 35-11 overall and 17-1 at home... ASU won last year's contest at RU Hockey Field, 3-2.
