AUSTIN, REESE CARD SOLID ROUNDS ON SECOND DAY AT KIAWAH ISLAND

DAY 2 RESULTS

KIAWAH, S.C. – Alexandra Austin and Paige Reese each recorded two-over rounds for the Radford women's golf team on the second day of the Kiawah Island Intercollegiate on Monday.

Austin remains towards the top of the individual leaderboard in a tie for 23rd in a field of 179 players. She shed three strokes off her first day total of 77.

After shooting three-over on the front nine, Reese went one-under on the back nine courtesy of eight pars and a birdie to also finish two-over 74, tying her season-low. Reese is currently in a tie for 45th place.

Jade Okamoto shot nine strokes better than her first-round tally and finished at six-over 78 after 36 holes of action.

Following a first-round 327, the four-player Radford team shot a much lower score with a 308 (+20).

The Highlanders took on the Cougar Point Course today, which was setup as a par-72, 6,001-yard layout.

The third and final round commences Tuesday morning with an 8:45 shotgun start on the Oak Point course.
