Radford field hockey closes out the home portion of its schedule and honors its senior class on Saturday, Oct. 12, hosting Liberty in a key NorPac East Division matchup at 1:00 p.m.

Prior to the contest, the Highlanders (4-9, 2-1 NorPac East) will recognize their two seniors, Sidney Encarnacion and Alayna Versage, before taking on the first-place Lady Flames (7-4, 2-0), who are a game up in the loss column on Radford.

A LOOK AT RU: Radford set a school record with its 20th defensive save at Virginia on Oct. 1… They currently lead the NCAA with that number and are third in saves per game (10.38)… Program leader, senior Alayna Versage recorded her seventh of the season, matching her career-high achieved a season ago… She and junior Jordan Vrhovac (5) are ranked second and tied for third in the NCAA, respectively… Parker paces the Highlanders with five goals and 11 points… Encarnacion is ranked tied for eighth in the NCAA, averaging 8.17 saves per game.

THE SERIES: The Lady Flames own a 2-1 advantage in the series after winning both contests in 2012… Liberty edged Radford in double OT, 2-1, at RU Hockey Field last year… Radford's lone win came in the series debut, a 3-1 triumph in Lynchburg.
