MEN’S GOLF TRAVELS TO FAMED KIAWAH FOR FALL FINALE

RADFORD, Va. – The Radford men's golf team heads south for its final stop of the fall season at the Wendy's Kiawah Classic. The 54-hole event, hosted by Charleston Southern, will take place at the famous Kiawah Island Resort on the par 72, 7,100-yard Turtle Point Golf Course November 3rd-5th.
Leading the Highlanders in their previous tournament, Ryan Rettberg looks to build on his career-best 1-over-par 214 (70-71-73) at the ODU/OBX Invitational. The redshirt junior finished tied for 14th, which matched his collegiate-best showing.
One stoke behind Rettberg was Tanner Carbaugh, who fired a 2-over-par 215 (70-74-71) to tie for 19th. Senior Callum Tarren tied for 34th with a 219 (76-71-72) and Conner Hayden tied for 36th at 220 (77-70-73). Nick Brediger rounded out the scores for Radford one shot behind Hayden at 221 (73-72-76) to tie for 46th.
Radford will be joining host CSU as well as Campbell, College of Charleston, Creighton, Elon, George Washington, Jacksonville State, Marquette, Minnesota, Missouri, Presbyterian, Richmond, South Carolina, Towson, USC Upstate, Western Kentucky, Winthrop, and Wisconsin in vying for the team title.
