RADFORD VISITS GARDNER-WEBB WEDNESDAY FOR BIG SOUTH ROAD CLASH

RADFORD, Va. – The Radford women's soccer team will look to snap its two-game skid Wednesday night when the Highlanders visit Greene-Harbison Stadium in Boiling Springs, N.C. for a 7 p.m. Big South clash with Gardner-Webb.

LAST TIME OUT
UNC Asheville's Katie Tarto scored in the 11^th minute and that proved to be enough for the Bulldogs to hold on for the 1-0 victory over the Highlanders… Asyia Mitchell nearly scored the equalizer in the 20^th minute, but her redirect off a corner kick was cleared off the line by the Bulldogs' defense… Radford outshot UNCA, 13-9, which included nine on target.

RADFORD ROUNDUP
Final game of a three-game road swing… RU sits in fourth place with 10 points, six behind Liberty (16 points), three behind Coastal Carolina (13) and one behind Campbell (11)… Ben Sohrabi is four wins shy of 200 at Radford… Kara Wade has tallied seven goals, four game-winners and 16 points… Wade leads the league in game-winners, is fourth in points (16) and fourth in goals… Jordan Lundin is tied for first among Big South players in assists with seven, which includes six in conference competition… RU is tied for third in goals (25), third in points (73), third in assists (23) and third in shots (227)… The Highlanders are 13-4-2 in Big South regular season road games since 2011.

SCOUTING THE RUNNIN' BULLDOGS
Gardner-Webb tied Longwood, 1-1, Saturday in Farmville, Va. off a goal by Brandi Arey in the 29^th minute… The Runnin' Bulldogs have not won since their 3-0 victory at Winthrop on Sept. 24… Shelby Hooe is the team's top goal scorer (five), assists' leader (four) and points' leader (14)… Krista Chauvin has logged 937:15 in goal for GWU, and has a 1.44 goals against average to go along with 60 saves.

SERIES HISTORY
Despite Radford leading the all-time series, 6-2-1, the Highlanders and the Runnin' Bulldogs seem to always play each other close… RU has won three in a row against Gardner-Webb, but each decision was decided by one goal… In the nine meetings between the two programs, only once (Sept. 11, 2005 / W, 3-1) has Radford won by more than one goal.
