CONDON LEADS RADFORD ON DAY ONE OF LOW COUNTRY INTERCOLLEGIATE

ROUND 1

RADFORD, Va. – Kirsty Condon is tied for 15^th and the Radford women's golf team is 10^th following Sunday's first round of the Low Country Intercollegiate hosted by Wofford at the par 72, 5,815-yard Moss Creek Golf Club in Hilton Head Island, S.C.

With four of its golfers inside the Top 15 of the individual standings, Samford shot a 313 to claim a one-shot advantage heading into Monday's final round. Fellow SoCon member Western Carolina carded a 314 to command second place, four strokes ahead of Gardner-Webb (318).

Radford returned a 341 to the clubhouse, led by Condon's 80. Hayley Hammond logged an 83 and is tied for 29^th. Paige Reese and Olivia Jay both fired an 89 and are tied for 48^th.

Western Carolina's Kristin Swindell leads the 54-golfer field with her 3-over-par 75. Bailey Gray of Samford lurks one shot behind at 4-over-par 76.

Monday's final round commences with a 9:30 a.m. shotgun start.
