RADFORD HOSTS CAMPBELL IN BIG SOUTH PLAY ON THURSDAY, FRIDAY, AND SATURDAY

With Easter Sunday this weekend, the typical Big South baseball schedule changes a bit this week with Campbell visiting RU Baseball Stadium. Radford will host the Camels on Thursday (6:30 p.m.), Friday (6:30), and Saturday (2:00) as the schedule is adjusted up one day for the holiday weekend. The Highlanders trail CU by three games for second place in the North Division heading into this important conference series.

Radford (18-16, 8-7) had its non-conference game rained out Tuesday at No. 1 Virginia. RU has won three of its last five games, but is just 3-6 in its last nine Big South contests. Campbell (25-12, 11-4) stands alone in second place behind division leader Liberty and has won six of its last seven games, including back-to-back league sweeps over Presbyterian and UNC Asheville.

Campbell leads the overall series, 25-16. Radford took last year's regular season series 2-1 in Buies Creek, N.C. snapping a six-game losing streak to the Camels. CU defeated Radford in the second round of the Big South Tournament last May.
