RADFORD, Va. – The Radford women's tennis team returns to action Sunday at 9 a.m. for a neutral-site match with East Tennessee State in Bristol, Tenn.

The Highlanders (0-1) will be looking to even their record following their season-opening loss to No. 57 Virginia Tech. Despite the end result, Radford competed well against the nationally-ranked Hokies, especially in doubles.

ETSU plays its first match of the 2015 dual season Saturday at 1 p.m. against Appalachian State in Boone, N.C. The Buccaneers are coming off a 14-9 season in 2014 where they captured their fourth Atlantic Sun title and advanced to the first round of the NCAA Tournament where they lost to No. 5 Duke, 4-0.

Jessica Brumit, Lyn Yee Choo and Ana Gerbasi are three returners off ETSU's 2014 squad. To complement their returners, the Bucs have added Melissa Esguerra, Ioanna Markesini and Jayde Viccars for this spring. Of ETSU's eight players, seven are international.

Following its second match of the season, RU does not compete again until Friday, Feb. 20 against Appalachian State. Opening serve is set for 3 p.m. in Boone, N.C.
