  • Led by two scores in the 70s, the Radford women's golf team posted a 330 in Sunday's opening round of the Fighting Camel Classic hosted by Campbell at Keith Hills Country Club in Buies Creek, N.C.
  • For the ninth time this season, Khushboo Thiagaraj carded or tied for the Highlanders' best round.
  • The sophomore played the par-5s in 1-under-par, en route to a 77.
  • Thiagaraj's only birdie of the day came at the par-5 13th hole.

  • Radford is tied with UNC Greensboro for 13th place in the team standings.
