  • Junior Olivia Jay carded a season-best 77 to lead the Radford women's golf team in Monday's second round of the Fighting Camel Classic hosted by Campbell at Keith Hills Country Club in Buies Creek, N.C.
  • Jay played her opening nine holes in 1-under-par, notching a birdie at the par-3 14th hole.
  • Larissa Carter is tied for second in the field in par-3 scoring at even par.
  • As a team, Radford shaved six strokes off its first round to score a 324 in the second round.
  • The Highlanders moved ahead of UNC Greensboro for 13th place in the team standings.
  • Tournament host Campbell, which is ranked No. 45 in the nation according to Golfstat, separated itself from the field Monday, firing the low round of the day (301) en route to a 16-shot advantage over Mercer.
