- Radford and Youngstown State, two teams that advanced to the 2015 WNIT, are set to battle Friday at 7 p.m. inside the Beeghly Center in Youngstown, Ohio.

- Friday's game will be a homecoming for two players and one coach on Radford's roster. Jayda Worthy (Toledo), Jordan Toohey (Pickerington) and Courtney Davidson (Youngstown) are all native Ohioans.

- Record: 2-0
- The Penguins enter Friday's game with a 2-0 record following wins over Canisius (53-51) and Niagara (71-54).
- Youngstown State overcame a 22-point deficit in its season opener against Canisius at home.
- Three-point shooting is a strength of the Penguins, who drilled 10 in their win over Niagara. They made nine in their 70-44 win at Radford last season.
- YSU averages 6.5 made 3-pointers per game.
- The Penguins return three starters and eight letterwinners from the 2014-15 campaign that saw them earn a WNIT at-large bid after winning 21 games.
- YSU has won at least 21 games in two of the last three seasons.
- Only eight Penguins have scored this season. Of those eight, four average at least 9.5 ppg.
