SETTING THE STAGE

Radford and Youngstown State, two teams that advanced to the 2015 WNIT, are set to battle Friday at 7 p.m. inside the Beeghly Center in Youngstown, Ohio.

Friday's game will be a homecoming for two players and one coach on Radford's roster. Jayda Worthy (Toledo), Jordan Toohey (Pickerington) and Courtney Davidson (Youngstown) are all native Ohioans.
Between YSU (seven) and Radford (two), there will be nine players hailing from the state of Ohio in Friday's game.

The Penguins enter Friday's game with a 2-0 record following wins over Canisius (53-51) and Niagara (71-54).
Youngstown State overcame a 22-point deficit in its season opener against Canisius at home.
Three-point shooting is a strength of the Penguins, who drilled 10 in their win over Niagara. They made nine in their 70-44 win at Radford last season.
YSU averages 6.5 made 3-pointers per game.
The Penguins return three starters and eight letterwinners from the 2014-15 campaign that saw them earn a WNIT at-large bid after winning 21 games.
