Riding a four-game winning streak, which included a conference sweep at Campbell over the weekend, the Radford baseball team will host in-state foe William & Mary at RU Baseball Stadium on Tuesday. First pitch is set for 6:00 p.m. between the Highlanders and the Tribe.

SCOUTING THE TRIBE
William & Mary won its weekend Colonial Athletic series over Elon taking the final two games from the Phoenix. In doing so, the Tribe snapped a six-game losing streak. Charley Gould leads the team with a .341 batting average. He has hit five home runs and driven in a team-high 26 runs. Ryan Hissey has six homers to lead the team. As a team, the Tribe boasts a .257 batting average and a 5.51 team ERA.

THE HIGHLANDERS

RU completed a 3-game sweep of Campbell and won its 4th straight game, and is currently tied with Coastal Carolina for the Big South lead at 5-1 in conference play. Radford's pitching staff posted a 1.33 ERA and 21 strikeouts vs. the Camels in the series. The staff held the league's top-hitting team to a .188 batting average in 3 games.

Radford is 2-3 this season in midweek contests. Brad Keen hit his first career walkoff home run vs. ETSU, a three-run shot in the bottom of the 10th inning in last week's midweek contest. For the week last week, the RU offense batted .305 with 25 runs scored. The defense held opponents to a .178 batting average and 9 runs.

Josh Gardiner leads the Highlanders with a .370 batting average. Shane Johnsonbaugh is hitting .340. Patrick Marshall has a team-high 26 RBI.
