WOMEN’S GOLF IN FOURTH PLACE WITH 18 TO GO IN WILLIAMSBURG

WILLIAMSBURG, Va. – Led by two of its golfers in the Top 20 of the individual standings, the Radford women's golf team shot 320 and 315 to open in fourth place through Monday's 36 holes at the Middleburg Bank Intercollegiate. William & Mary is hosting the two-day tournament at the par 72, 5,962-yard Kingsmill Resort Plantation Course in Williamsburg, Va.

Alexandra Austin sets the pace for the Highlanders at 153 (77-76), which is tied for seventh. The senior from Burke, Va., will be going for her third Top 10 of the season. Olivia Jay is right behind in 14^th place at 155 (75-80). Her first-round 75 was Radford's best 18-hole tally of the day.

Khushboo Thiagaraj rebounded from an opening 85 to card a 79 in the afternoon session to finish at 164, which is tied for 43^rd. Larissa Carter is two strokes behind in a tie for 49^th at 166 (83-83).

Meagan Board was the Highlanders' biggest mover in the second round, shaving eight shots off her first-round ledger to post a 168 (88-80). The Roanoke, Va., native is tied for 53^rd in the 89-golfer field.

Delaware has a six-shot lead on William & Mary entering Tuesday's final round. The Blue Hens returned a 608 (302-306) to the clubhouse, while the Tribe brought in a 614 (305-309). Eastern Michigan (616) is third, 19 shots clear of RU.

Alessandra Liu of William & Mary tops the individual leaderboard at 1-under-par 143 (72-71). She has a four-shot advantage over Delaware's Amanda Terzian thanks to carding the only sub-par 36-hole scorecard, Monday.

Radford is paired with Rutgers and Navy for Tuesday's final round, which begins with a 9 a.m. shotgun start. The Highlanders are set to open their final 18 on holes 4-6.
