RADFORD, Va. – After two spring tournaments that have not lived up to the Highlanders' expectations, the Radford men's golf team heads to North Myrtle Beach, S.C., for the two-day, 54-hole Bash at the Beach—a tournament where RU has had recent success. Radford finished runner-up at this event last season and captured the team title two years ago.

RADFORD LINEUP
The Highlanders will debut a new lineup this week in North Myrtle Beach. Conner Hayden, Ryan Rettberg, Conner Lewis, Nick Brediger and Callum Cochrane are set to compete together for the first time this season.
THE FIELD
Radford enters as the highest ranked Division I program in the 18-team field at No. 108. West Georgia ranks sixth in the nation among Division II teams.
THE COURSE
The Grand Strand's third-oldest and most well-known golf club was originally designed by George Cobb. The course opened in 1960 and was first renovated in 1990 by John Lafoy. In 1996, the club replaced the greens with G2 bentgrass.
With a traditional layout featuring wide fairways and minimal fairway bunkers, teams normally have to go low to win. The past two champions shot under-par to claim the team title, which includes Radford's 7-under-par 845 two years ago.
UP NEXT
Radford ventures out to Williamsburg, Va., for the Middleburg Bank Intercollegiate hosted by William & Mary at Kingsmill Resort's River Course. The three-day, 54-hole tournament begins Sunday, March 22.
