HIGHLANDERS COMPLETE DAY TWO OF ITA REGIONALS

NORFOLK, Va. – Radford wrapped up play in the 2016 ITA Atlantic Regionals hosted by Old Dominion on Saturday. The second day saw the Highlanders have one player competing in the first round of the singles main draw and a doubles tandem in the second round of the doubles main draw.

Coming off an 8-2 doubles win on Friday, Drousile Dzeubou and Natalie Sayer were unable to keep the momentum going on day two. The duo dropped an 8-6 battle to the Virginia Tech team of Elena Cerezo-Codina and Natalie Novotna.

In singles action, Dzeubou dropped a 6-1, 2-6, 6-4 match to William & Mary's Maria Groener.

The Highlanders will return to action Oct. 28-30, traveling up the road to participate in the Hokie Fall Invitational.
