HAYESVILLE, N.C. – Khushboo Thiagaraj finished with her first career Top 5 finish, carding a one-under par 71 on the final day of the Bill Berg Invitational to finish in a three-way tie for third place out of the 66-player field at The Ridges Country Club, Tuesday afternoon.

Thiagaraj matched her career-best round of 71, set Sept. 14, 2015 in the William & Mary Invitational. The junior started her final round on the 13^th tee, bogeying the Par 4 17^th hole, before collecting birdies on the sixth and ninth greens to finish with Radford's lowest round of the invite.

Dominating the Par 4 holes, Thiagaraj led the field with an average score of 4.07. In addition to the Par 4 average, she led the tournament with 38 pars, while collecting five birdies.

Morgan Cox and Kasidy Beckel finished with their lowest rounds of the tournament on the final day, carding eight-over par 80s. Cox matches her career-best round, set in the Golfweek Program challenge in September. Beckel's round is her best on the season.

Eastern Kentucky captured their third consecutive Bill Berg Invitational, finishing with a three-day score of 889. The Colonels also captured medalist honors as Elsa Mobertly finished with a one-over par three-day round of 217.

The Highlanders charted their lowest 54-hole round of the season (953), finishing three strokes out of 11^th place UNC Asheville.
