RADFORD DROPS 7-0 BIG SOUTH MATCH TO CHARLESTON SOUTHERN

CHARLESTON, S.C. – Radford dropped its second consecutive Big South match, falling to Charleston Southern 7-0, Tuesday afternoon Buccaneer Tennis Complex.

Charleston Southern (3-0, 1-0) opened with sweep in doubles action, controlling an early 2-0 lead.

Gabriela Srodowski and Valeria Koussenkova ensured a Buccaneers victory with victories in the No. 4 and No. 6 singles play.

Natalie Sayer put up the best fight for the Highlanders, dropping a 6-4, 7-6 match in No. 1 singles.

The Highlanders (0-7, 0-1) will be back in action on Friday, hosting UNC Asheville in Big South play for their first home match of the season.
