MT. PLEASANT, S.C. – Larissa Carter fired a 3-over-par 75 and is tied for fifth place following Monday's first round of the Bulldog Invitational hosted by The Citadel at Patriots Point Links (par 72, 6,026 yards).

Radford is seventh in the team race, compiling a 325 for its opening round. Lamar tops the team leaderboard at 295, 12 shots clear of Wofford and Appalachian State.

Khushboo Thiagaraj carded an 81 and is tied for 29^th, while Olivia Jay brought in an 83 and is tied for 36^th. Meagan Board (86) and Morgan Cox (87) are tied for 47^th and 51^st, respectively.

Lamar's Wenny Chang was the lone individual in the 57-golfer field to reach red figures, tallying a 3-under-par 69. She claims a three-stroke advantage into the final round.

Tuesday's final round gets underway with a 9 a.m. shotgun start.
