MT. PLEASANT, S.C. – Behind three rounds in the 70s, Radford fired a 313 to climb two spots and finish fifth following Tuesday's final round of the Bulldog Invitational hosted by The Citadel at Patriots Point Links (par 72, 6,026 yards).

Radford, which improved 12 strokes from its opening round, finished with a 638 to edge Western Illinois by one shot for fifth place. Lamar (594) ran away with the team title, posting a 19-shot victory over Appalachian State.

Larissa Carter notched her first Top-10 of the season, returning a 152 (75-77) to the clubhouse to place seventh. Khushboo Thiagaraj climbed 10 spots, tying for 19^th at 158 (81-77). Meagan Board moved up 16 places to tie for 31^st at 163 (86-77).

Olivia Jay (165) and Morgan Cox (176) rounded out the Highlanders' lineup in a tie for 36^th and 53^rd, respectively.

Lamar's Wenny Chang recorded a wire-to-wire victory for medalist honors. Her two-day total of 1-under-par 143 (69-74) was two swings clear of teammate Taylor Stockton.

The Highlanders return to action March 20-22 at the Bobby Nichols Intercollegiate hosted by Tennessee Tech at Sevierville Golf Club in Sevierville, Tenn.
