RADFORD FALLS TO JAMES MADISON 7-0 IN NEUTRAL SITE MATCH

BLACKSBURG, Va. – Radford's women's tennis team played their first match in the Commonwealth, taking on in-state foe James Madison in neutral site action as the two foes met in the Burrows-Burleson Tennis Center on the campus of Virginia Tech. The Dukes came out victorious with a 7-0 victory.

After dropping early 6-1, 6-2 decisions in doubles action, Radford received a strong showing from Drousile Dzeubou in singles play. Dzeubou dropped a tight match to Timea Guibe 6-4, 6-4.

Meili Martin and Natalie Sayer put up a fight in singles action to round out Radford's top three players. Martin dropped a 7-5, 6-1 match to Rachel Neslon, while Sayer fell 6-0, 7-5 to Emma Peterson.

Radford will take two weeks off, returning to action on Feb. 11 for their home opener against Appalachian State.
