DZEUBOU COLLECTS FIRST COLLEGIATE WIN; RADFORD FALLS 6-1 TO APP STATE

RADFORD, Va. – In Radford's 2017 home opener, freshman Drousile Dzeubou collected her first collegiate win in No. 1 singles action as the Highlanders dropped a 6-1 decision to Appalachian State, Saturday afternoon.

Dzeubou defeated Rebecca Morse 6-1, 6-3 to move to 1-2 in singles action on the season. Junior Natalie Sayer was the only other Highlander to collect a set win on the day as she dropped a 6-1, 0-6, 6-2 decision to Heidi Swope in No. 2 singles.

Radford returns to action on Sunday with a 4 p.m. against New River Valley foe Virginia Tech. The match will be played at the Burrows-Burleson Tennis Center
