WILLIAMSBURG, Va. – The Radford men's golf team jumped two spots on the final day of play and finished sixth as the final round concluded on Tuesday at the River Course at Kingsmill Resort.
Nick Brediger finished 5-over (215) in the tournament, but carded the best of any Highlander in the third round. He posted a 2-under (68) and jumped to a tie for 11th in the individual leaderboard.
Myles Creighton, who finished the highest of any Big South player in the tournament, carded a 3-over (213) over three rounds and shot a 1-under (69) in round three. His play landed him ninth in the individual leaderboard. It was Creighton's third consecutive top 10 finish.
Radford tallied 36 birdies as a team, which is the sixth most of any participant in the tournament. The Highlanders finished above Marshall, Loyola (Md.), Winthrop, Old Dominion, William and Mary, Drake, Temple and High Point, among others in the 22-team field.
