JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – After a couple of windy days at the Jacksonville Golf Club, the Radford women's golf team bounced back and moved up two spots to finish fourth in the Benbow Invitational, which ended Tuesday.
 
The Highlanders cut nine strokes off their score from day one and finished with a 335 as a team on the second day. After both days, Radford ended with a 679 and finished higher than Evansville, Holy Cross and The Citadel. Khushboo Thiagaraj finished tied for 14th, the best of any Radford player, and finished 13 over (167) on day two.
 
Morgan Cox and Kasidy Beckel made tremendous turnarounds in the second day on the course as they finished a combined 29 strokes better than in day one. Cox moved up 16 spots in the leaderboard and finished tied for 25th, while Beckel moved up seven spots to finish tied for 41.

Olivia Jay moved up three spots to finish tied for 17th after shooting a 12 over (84) in day two, while Meagan Board fell four spots after finishing plus 16 (82) on the final day of play.
 
The fourth place finish for the Highlanders is the best finish since the Winthrop Intercollegiate on October 23, 2016.
