HIGHLANDERS FALL 4-0 TO MISSOURI

BLACKSBURG, Va. – Radford returned to the court for the first time since Jan. 22, dropping a 4-0 neutral site match to Missouri Saturday afternoon inside the Burrows-Burleson Tennis Center on the campus of Virginia Tech.

The only Highlanders win on the day came in No. 2 doubles play as the team Drousile Dzeubou and Lotti Meszaros defeated the Tiger team of Amina Ismail and Taylor Gruber 6-4.

Natalie Sayer and Tyler Blalock put up a fight against Serena Nash and Clare Raley, dropping a 6-4 decision in No. 1 doubles.

After collecting the doubles point, Missouri won three singles matches quickly. Jeanine Acierto was up 4-3 in the second set after dropping 6-4 first set to Clare Raley.

Radford returns to play on Feb. 10 at NC Central for a 2 p.m., match.
