BOARD, COX AND BECKEL NAMED WGCA ALL-AMERICAN SCHOLARS

CORAL SPRINGS, Fla. – The Women's Golf Coaches Association (WGCA) All-American Scholars for Divisions I, II and III were announced Tuesday with Radford's Meagan Board, Morgan Cox and Kasidy Beckel earning a spot on the list for the third time in their careers.

A total of 1,011 women collegiate golfers were recognized with the prestigious honor. The criteria for selection to the All-American Scholar Team are some of the most stringent in all of college athletics. To be considered, student-athletes must have a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.5 and must compete in 50 percent of the team's competition. Radford was one of five Big South institutions represented.

Meagan Board graduated with a degree in communications and a GPA of 3.83. Morgan Cox graduated with a degree in elementary education and a GPA of 3.68. Kasidy Beckel enters her senior year with a GPA 3.98, double majoring in management and finance.
