DAVIDSON, N.C. – The Radford men's golf team shot 298 in rounds one and two and is in seventh place after day one at the River Run Collegiate.

The Highlanders totaled 21 birdies in the two rounds and tallied 108 pars which was fifth most of all teams in the competition. The highlight of the match was in the first round when Peter Gasperini eagled the 10th hole.
Gasperini currently sits in a tie for 28th, while Parker See is tied for 16th to lead all Highlanders. See tallied six birdies, while Tyler Hull picked five. Ben Ramsey, along with See led the Highlanders with 23 pars.
At the end of round one, the Highlanders were in fifth place. Even though it shot the same score as a team in the second round, Radford fell two spots.
