MACON, Ga. – The Radford women's golf team completed its first two rounds at the Idle Hour Collegiate on Monday. The Highlanders are currently in 15th place after the opening day, shooting a team score of 320 in the first round and 313 in the second round.
 
Sidney Walker leads the Highlanders and sits in a tie for 32nd place at 11-over. Walker had three birdies on the day, with two coming in the first round. Beatriz Mosquera Quintas led the team with five birdies in the first two rounds. Three of the Spaniard's birdies came in the opening round of play.
 
Mosquera Quintas and Natalie Welsh are tied for 48th through two rounds at 15-over. Welsh had a pair of birdies in the second round and shot a 1-over 37 on the back nine in the second round to move up the leaderboard.
 
Overall, Charlotte leads the tournament field at 1-under, 14 shots ahead of second place, which is occupied by tournament host Mercer. The 49ers' Cecilie Finne-Ipsen leads all players at 8-under, shooting rounds of 69 and 67 on the opening day.
