HIGHLANDERS WIN THIRD-PLACE MATCH AGAINST APPALACHIAN STATE AT OYSTER SHUCK MATCH PLAY

Mt. Pleasant, SC - The Radford women's golf team defeated Appalachian State, 3.0-2.0, to take third-place at the Oyster Shuck Match Play event on Tuesday afternoon at Patriot Point Golf Club.

Beatriz Mosquera Quintas and Sidney Walker were both named to the All-Tournament Team at the completion of the event.

Quintas defeated Joliana Elias at the No. 1 flight by a total of 3&2 and Walker bested Melany Chong by a 1UP count at the No. 2 flight.

Riko Nagai won the match for the Highlanders when she birdied her second extra hole, recording a Half-W against Morgan Adamchik at the No. 5 spot.
