MOSQUERA QUINTAS TAKES RUNNER-UP TROPHY AT FRENCH BROAD COLLEGIATE INVITATIONAL

Arden, NC. – The Radford women's golf team finished ninth at the two-day French Broad Collegiate Invitational on Tuesday afternoon. The event was held at the Cliffs at Walnut Cove, a par 71, 5,897-yard course.

Radford (+68, 317-319) finished 25 strokes behind Appalachian State (+43, 306-305), who won the event with a combined team score of 611.

Freshman Beatriz Mosquera Quintas nearly won her second straight individual title as she was the runner-up after carding a team-best 145 (+3, 73-72), just two strokes behind champion Bianca Porta (South Carolina Beaufort), who recorded a 143 (+1, 73-72).

Sidney Walker was 15 strokes behind Mosquera Quintas as she finished in a 28^th-place tie (+18, 76-84-160)

Kasidy Beckel (79-89-168), Natalie Welsh (89-80-169) and Hannah Tuttle (89-83-172) rounded out the scoring for Radford.
