Women’s Tennis Finishes Play at ITA Regionals

LYNCHBURG, VA. – The Radford women's tennis program wrapped up play at the ITA Regionals hosted by Liberty on Saturday afternoon with multiple Highlanders picking up victories.

Play got underway early Friday morning with five Highlanders in action for singles play and four in doubles play. Radford found most of its success in singles play as Malin Falk won her Round of 64 match 6-3, 6-4 against Virginia Tech to advance to Saturday's Round of 32.

Salma Loudili also defeated Liberty 5-7, 6-3, 6-0 in her Round of 128 match-up. It was a tough draw for Loudili who would move on to face the #12 seed in the tournament in the Round of 64. On Saturday in consolation play, Loudili would pick up another singles victory 6-3, 1-6, 1-0 (9) against William & Mary.

Radford will close out the fall tournament season when they travel to the Wofford Invitational in a couple weeks.
