CHARLOTTE, N.C. – Radford women's golf is represented on the Big South All-Academic Team by
Riko Nagai this year, the conference office announced on Monday morning.
The senior and team captain excelled in the classroom to the tune of a 3.50 cumulative grade point average as a Marketing major. She did even better during the fall semester, recording a 3.80 term GPA.
Nagai played in all nine tournaments for the Highlanders during the 2021-22 season. She carded a season-low round of 73 twice, including during the second round of the Big South Championships.
This marks the first Big South Conference award of Nagai's career – and there's no one more deserving.
