Abrams to Join Highlanders for 2022-23 Season

RADFORD, Va. – The Radford Women's Tennis program announced Thursday afternoon the addition of Julia Abrams who will join the team for next year's 2022-23 season.

Coming out of high school Abrams was a four-star recruit at Mooresville High School. While there, Abrams was a 4A doubles finalist her sophomore season in 2019. She was the singles champion at the 4A level during the 2020 and 2021 seasons and in 2021 was named the North Carolina USTA High School Player of the Year.

Abrams was born in Clearwater, Fla. and began her tennis career at just the age of four years old. She also will be a transfer from N.C. State.
 
"Julia is such a great addition to our program and we expect her to contribute right away," commented Director of Tennis Rob Bareford. "Excited to see what the future holds for her as a Highlander."
