BLACKSBURG, Va. – The Radford women's track & field program kept its record-setting start to the indoor season rolling as the Highlanders dropped a school record, four all-time top 10 marks and 11 personal best to open their stay at the two-day Virginia Tech Invitational inside Rector Field House on Friday evening.

NOTABLES
- The highlight of the evening came in the last Radford event of the night as
Jeylah Hamrick had a school record showing in the 300-meter at 40.20. She led the way for the Highlanders with a sixth-place finish overall. To make the race even more special,
Raichelle Cornelius (12th) and
Jordan Jackson (23rd) both set personal records as well with times of 40.64 and 42.01, respectively.

Mya Rosser and
Logan Babbs put on an absolute show in the weight throw. Rosser led the way in 11th overall with a best chuck of 15.89-meters, over a meter improvement over her previous all-time best. Babbs was right behind in 13th with a personal-best toss of 15.65-meters. The two are now ranked No. 8 and No. 10 all-time in the event in school history. Rosser is also slotted in at fourth in the conference while Babbs is fifth.
- It was a personal-best day for
Sienna Bailey who took 14th overall against a stacked field in her first-ever women's mile final at 5:02.78. She is now ranked seventh all-time in the event in program history and fifth in the Big South.

Mia Farley took second overall in the unseeded one mile final. The Blacksburg native, getting a chance to compete in her hometown, blazed the track with a personal best time of 5:15.25. The mark beat her old personal record by over 14 seconds and the showing has Farley ranked sixth in the Big South.

Sophie Magson raced to a season-best time of 9:59.09 to take 14th overall in a loaded field in the women's 3000-meter final. It was a new season high by over seven seconds. Coming into the evening, she already led the conference in the event and became the first Big South student-athlete to go sub-10 minutes so far this indoor season.
- The trio of
Megan Cash (seventh),
Mackenzie Brownrigg (13th) and
Katelyn Campbell (18th) all dropped personal bests in the 3000-meter unseeded final with times of 10:23.51, 10:32.56 and 10:52.11, respectively. All three performances are currently ranked in the top 10 in the conference.

Jaslyne Robinson set a season best with a 16th-place finish in the 60-meter hurdles prelims as she crossed the line in 9.02. The performance was a season best by over a second.

Kandace McIvor also set a season best in the long jump with a best leap of 5.08-meters. The jump was a five-inch improvement over her first competition of the year and pushed her into the top 10 in the Big South.
