Men's Results

BOONE, N.C. – The Radford men's cross country team competed in the 2009 Blue Ridge Open Friday in Boone, N.C. 

Freshman Jared Scripture (Heathsville, Va./Northumberland) was the first Radford runner to cross the finish line with a time of 28:09.90. Nathan Turner (Lynchburg, Va,/Brookville) was the next Highlander runner to cross the finish line with a time of 29:08.10. Turner was followed closely by Eric Adams (Roanoke, Va./Cave Springs), who finished six seconds behind him with a time of 29:14.02. Mike Arrowsmith (Ashburn, Va./Stonebridge) finished with a time of 30:23.85 while Liam Arocho (Virginia Beach, Va./Ocean Lakes) finished the men's gold 8K race with a time of 30:32.55. 

Radford will return to action on Oct. 31 at the Big South Championship.
