RADFORD, Va. -- Radford Swimming and Diving wrapped up the Highlander Invitational on Saturday from the Dedmon Center Natatorium and posted an eighth-place finish in the final race of the evening, the 400 free relay.

The team of
Emily Turner (Baltimore, Md./Eastern Technical),
Jessica Frazelle (Lexington, N.C./West Davidson),
Claire Doherty (Chesapeake, Va./Hickory) and
Meaghan Rowley (Smithfield, Va./Smithfield) registered a time of 3:43.63 in the relay.
Doherty also posted a 10th in the 200 fly (2:14.04) and Frazelle a 13th in the 200 back (2:11.49). Also earning points for the Highlanders was
Haley Schweitzer (Chesapeake, Va./Great Bridge) with personal best 2:33.28 and 11th place finish in the 200 breast and
Collen Miller (Kent Island, Md./Archbishop Spaulding) turning in a 16th with a 2:13.55 in the back.
Senior
Julia Hoffman (Lynchburg, Va./E.C. Glass) won the "C" final of the 200 breast (2:35.79) and Turner a second in the "C" heat of the 100 free (55.14).
Radford, after a lengthy break, will hop back into the pool on January 7 at CCSA foe North Florida. Old Dominion and College of Charleston will also be participating in this quad meet.
