MEET SCHEDULE

RADFORD, Va. – The Radford track and field program will head to Chapel Hill, N.C. to compete in the Kent Taylor-Joe Hilton Carolina Invitational at UNC's Belk Track at Fetzer Field on Saturday, its last meet before the Big South Championships next weekend.

The Highlanders will be challenged by more than 15 teams across the country - including ACC members Duke, host North Carolina, and North Carolina State, Big 12 member Oklahoma and Big East squads from Syracuse, West Virginia and Villanova.

The hammer throw will be the first event at 10:30 a.m. with relays, javelin and discus following at 1 p.m.

14 Highlanders find themselves ranked within the Top 25 in several events in the NCAA East Region.  Here is a look at where they stand:

Nikki Roseberry – No. 4 in the high jump (1.75m)
Brett Olinger – No. 7 in the 400m hurdles (52.72)
Kevin Richards – No. 9 in the decathlon (5,759 points)
Curtis Hodge – No. 11 in the hammer throw (58.27m)
Sean Domer – No. 11 in the javelin (63.80m)
Phillip Hovatter – No. 11 in the decathlon (5,711 points)
Chris Dobbins – No. 15 in the 110m hurdles (14.41)

Last Time Out
•    Olinger set a new school record in the 400m hurdles at 52.72 and was a part of both relay first-place teams.
•    The men won the first-ever Carolina's Cup and the women were runner-up
•    Recorded 14 total victories
•    Freshman Brian Gorwitz won his third consecutive event, this time in the 1500m at 4:02.39.
•    Hodge won his first hammer throw event as a Highlander and Roseberry took home her second gold of the outdoor season
•    Veatch blasted the field in the hammer, throwing 14 feet farther than the next closest competitor to take first.
