MEET SCHEDULE
RADFORD, Va. – The Radford track and field program is set to compete in the 2011 Big South Outdoor Championships at VMI's H.M. "Son" Read '16 Memorial Track on Apr. 21-23.
The three-day event will kick off Thursday with the men's javelin at 9 a.m. Last year, the men's team finished in third place, a program best, while the women's team garnered sixth.
ATHLETES TO WATCH

Brett Olinger – recently set the school record in the 400m hurdles at 52.72, the 13th best time in the region.

Chris Dobbins – Indoor Freshman of the Year, set the record in the 110m hurdles at 14.41 and won his first-ever outdoor hurdles title at the Kent Taylor-Joe Hilton Carolina Invitational last weekend.

Aimee Veatch - last year's hammer throw champion, has placed in the Top 5 in all three meets in which she competed, including a first-place throw of 49.40m at the Carolina's Cup.

Amber Church – Indoor Freshman of the Year and 60m hurdles champion, she has been on a tear in the 100m hurdles, taking the second and third-best times in program history.
LAST TIME OUT
Dobbins recorded his first-ever 110m hurdles victory and
Phillip Hovatter won the long jump at 7.01m.
Curtis Hodge recorded his fifth consecutive Top 3 mark in the hammer throw. Freshmen Lakei Crews,
Kaleice Green and
Samantha Reddington combined for three Top 3 showings.
